Parent Group with Baby Massage
Welcome to a warm and welcoming parent group with baby massage, led by Annika, Child
Health Nurse (BVC nurse).
We meet for five Wednesdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm for a calm and cosy morning
together. During the sessions, we talk about attachment, closeness, oxytocin – our own love and bonding hormone – as well as your baby’s development, signals and communication.
We share a light fika together and then spend a peaceful moment with your baby, where you will learn the basics of baby massage. We sing, use rhymes and move at a gentle pace.
We follow the international IAIM guidelines for infant massage and learn a little more at each session. Everything is done gently and entirely on the babies’ terms – there is no rush.
Baby massage can help stimulate your baby emotionally, physically and motorically, and
may also support relaxation and improved sleep. There is always space for questions and
conversations about what feels relevant for you and your baby.
